Free Card Trick - How to pull cards out of thin air! -Version 1 This tutorial will teach you one variation of a classic and basic magic trick that is excellent visual effect in card magic. You can use different variations of this card trick to pull cards out of thin air or behind someone's ear or any other object. Effect The magician amazes the spectators as he pulls cards out of thin air with an empty hand! Preparing For The Magic Trick You will only need a deck of regular playing cards. I recommend bicycles for magicians (you can get some here! ). You should also practice the card trick over and over before performing it to am audience. How To Do the Magic Trick  Take a few cards and place them in the palm of your hand using the palm position. You should start out with only a few cards (what ever amount you feel most comfortable with). After you mastered this card trick you then can add more cards. Using the Palm Position, grip the edges of the cards with your fingers along the short side of the cards. Then use your thumb to peel the top card away from the card stack.  Use your thumb to move the card you are peeling away and slide it up to expose it to the spectators. you should be holding it with your thumb and pointer finger.  While you are sliding the card up, pivot it so that it is standing up. Twist your hand so that it appears that it is grabbing the card out of the air. I recommend you practice this method of pulling cards out of thin air in front of a mirror. This help you see the audiences point of view. Also you should spend a great deal of time practicing palming the cards so that your hand appears more relaxed and natural when doing this magic trick.
